1. / Pack your picnic at the Grove’s Farmers Market

This is not a farmer’s market as one might think of it. Permanently-fixed food vendors serve up a variety of snacks, sweets, hot food, and anything else you might be in the mood for.

Friday Jazz at LACMA is back! Grab a spot on the lawn for an evening of live music, picnicking, and people watching.
💡 Know before you go
- Admission is free. Music goes from 6PM – 8PM on Friday’s.
- It’s outside, so check the weather to dress accordingly.
- Though technically not allowed, security is pretty relaxed about bringing your own wine.
3. / Get a bespoke cocktail at Blue Collar

Step inside Blue Collar and you’ll find a small watering hole with no resemblance to what the name implies. The interior is a suave lounge where a young Don Draper might grab a night cap after work.
Famously, they do not have a drink menu. The bartenders instead create bespoke cocktails based on your preferences. Choose a base spirit and whatever else you fancy, and let the bartender follow their muse from there. (Of course, they can also make any specific drink you request.)
If you like your drink, ask to have your name and recipe added to the vintage rolodex they keep on the bar. Any time you stop by in the future, they can pull your card to recreate the one-of-a-kind cocktail.
