Paddleboarding, Acai Bowls on the Beach, and Freshly-Brewed Craft Beer

This weekend we’re sending you paddleboarding at a low-key marina. Once you dry off, pick up some açaí bowls at The Hive to enjoy in the sand. Then end the day with a freshly-poured beer at Firestone Walker.

1. / Head to Pro SUP Shop at Mothers Beach to pick up your paddleboards

📍 4175 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

Pro SUP Shop knows how to hook you up with a good time. Calm water and a sandy beach entry make this the perfect place for beginners who’ve never tried paddleboarding before.

  • Parking is limited, but there are paid lots nearby.

2. / Dry off and walk over to The Hive for acai bowls

3. / Drink freshly-brewed craft beer at Firestone Walker

📍 3205 Washington Blvd. Marina Del Rey, CA 90292

A cold beer hits different after a day in the sun. This taproom is expansive, with both indoor and outdoor seating, so you’ll have no problem walking in without a reservation. The adjoining bar offers Firestone Walker favorites, including taps dedicated to Barrelworks wild ales and new R&D beers they’re developing.

💡 Know before you go

  • If you’re still hungry, their menu is geared for beer.
  • This location is where the main brewery does all their R&D. Try one of their limited Venice-only beers made in the Propagator brewhouse.
